My Nokia E72's:
- voice function
- GPS plus Google map
- wireless internet access
- you tube viewing capability
With nothing to do on a fine Friday night like this (no friends night out; even garnet's not around, she's gone home to my parents so she can have her vet visit), I decided to tinker with my new Nokia E72. I tried the phone's GPS yesterday at the University after my class. GPS lockdown was really fast! the Ovi maps, however are not that good here in the Philippines so i decided to look for a better application for my navigation needs. I've just installed Google Maps for Mobile (of course, because i can download it for free!). Tried it outside and i got GPS satellite lockdown in five seconds plus a really good approximation of where I am!

Also in the applications menu is this feature called voice function. Curious as to what it is (heck, i don't wanna read the manual!), i opened the app. and pretty much got the general picture of what it is. It gives the user the capability to call, read messages (both SMS and email) and send voice messages, among others, by just voicing commands to the phone. Just set it up by allowing the phone to recognize your voice and your good to go! Perfect when driving (as if I drive, hehe... mybe later this year) or when I am just lazy to punch buttons on my phone. Ohhh, and a text message just came in, it asked me what i'd like to do: Read now or do not read. anggaleeeng!!! handsfree!!!
And of course, being the internet-addict that i am, i really love the wireless internet connection that i get using this phone. As for you tube, well, I am currently addicted to listening to this certain song, which reminds me of a very special event. *blush
